Construction Line Load Command

Adds construction lines or circles to your current view that have been saved in a file.

1 . Invoke Construction Line Load using one (1) of the following methods:

Method 1: Click the Construction Line Load icon, which is pictured above. The icon can be found on the Layout page > Layout section.

Method 2:Construction Line Load can also be invoked using the Find Tool by searching the command name and clicking the Construction Line Load icon, which is pictured above.

2 . To load the construction line file that was created from "Save Construction Lines", you can either click on "open" after browsing to the saved file or simply double-click on the file you wish to load.

3 . The construction lines and construction circles are generated in the work plane of your view.

  • Any construction lines/circles that you add or delete in multi-user Modeling environments will be seen by you only.
  • Just like other construction lines & circles that you add in Modeling , they will be retained in your current Job -- for you only -- across Modeling sessions.
  • Best results with this operation are achieved if you perform it in a view that is similar to the view from which the construction lines and circles were originally saved. For example, if you originally saved construction lines that intersected the 0, 0 global X, Y coordinates in a full plan view and later loaded that file in another full plan view (at any elevation, in any Job), the construction lines generated in that other view would intersect at the 0, 0 global X, Y coordinates. This, however, would not be true if you loaded that same file in an elevation view.
